God I love the OSRS mods, sure they're not perfect but they atleast communicate, play their own game and work on it with complete enthusiasm whereas most of the RS3 mods are essentially just after quick cash and don't even play nor care for their own games health. RS3 mods are just after their yearly wage, no'fast cash' lmao, which goes to the shareholders.

I wouldn't say the RS3 Mods are just after quick money. From what I've seen, most of the mods you will find excellent and on par with the people in the OSRS Team. It's more the old higher-ups place MTX to Runescape and once Runescape becomes built around that, it is tough to go back. I am not even sure if the current management likes the condition of RS3, but it wouldn't be great business-wise to ax a major source of revenue. Even if the recent investors and such are not pushing for much more MTX, I doubt they would be happy to have profits go down.

A whole lot of the RS3 mods are quite clearly enthusiastic and care about Runescape. The issue is not the mods it's the management and higher ups, who likely only care for profit. They don't give a crap what the mods and community need to say about the state of Runescape if their paperwork is telling them that what they're doing is earning them more profit than ever before.I know a lot of people still playing it and they are pretty much all hardcore PvMers, and it is not so much they"defend it" (most of them talk about how crap the condition of Runescape is all of the time) it's more that it simply doesn't impede on their enjoyment of Runescape much. Ontop of that there is not really any games offering the exact same PvM experience so that they're kind of stuck.

Speaking for myself only as an RS3 participant that follows OSRS just through some YouTubers, it's just penis envy in videogame form. The neighborhood as a whole is frustrated with Jagex and the only core groups that stay are oldfucks that are way too deep into their dependence or sunk cost fallacy to quit Runescape and people that are fine with all the direction Runescape is being accepted in. We know OSRS additionally has faced its fair share of controversy but we are jealous as hell of this genuine care Jmods appear to have for your match.

Our"major" upgrade this week was this MTX construction thing and an announcement for a livestream where they'd reveal some"strong items". This tweet makes it seem like there was real content in these patch notes also. As an RS3 player, what do you believe it will better than OSRS? I enjoy the pursuit storylines we've and some of these endgame pvm is very well-designed. Additionally, I believe invention was a creative solution.

I agree with you. Quests and bosses in RS3 are extremely large quality. Speaking as a former RS3 participant who made the leap. I hope RS3's wonderful content won't be overlooked as a result of mtx greed that is uncontrollable. I really don't play RS3 myself, could you elaborate on the endgame articles? Can RS3 work in precisely the exact same manner OSRS does using all the tick system? Would want to see how bosses are in RS3, any really hard bosses you may recommend? I'll check a video of how it's done.

It will work with the identical tick system. Fair warning: RS3's interface is ridiculously complex and even I occasionally struggle to wrap my head round the keybinds high-end players utilize. Great breakdowns of the directors can be found here for Telos and Araxxor. I have not seen anybody mention that being great at RS3 pvm rewards you far more than it benefits in OS imo. By way of example, in one of the more recent RS3 solak was called by bosses.
